Curricula for facilitators of SenSyn program

SenSyn Facilitator CURRICULA: Empowering Active Ageing Through Peer Education

The SenSyn – Senior Synergy project introduces a dynamic training program designed to empower older adults (55+) to become facilitators and lead educational programs promoting active and healthy ageing. Developed under the Erasmus+ framework, this innovative initiative blends science-based insights on ageing with inclusive teaching methodologies, offering a structured yet flexible curriculum for peer-to-peer learning.

Over three sessions, participants gain practical skills in facilitation, communication, group leadership, and health education. The program emphasizes participatory learning, non-hierarchical teaching, and the importance of promoting physical, mental, and social well-being in later life. With hands-on modules, pilot sessions, and tailored support, the training equips facilitators to deliver meaningful, community-based education aimed at fostering autonomy, resilience, and quality of life among older adults.
